September 16, 2021 - Opened last night. Quite deep, dark color. This has improved overnight. Pretty rose hips in the nose, delicate yet full fruit. Some strawberry too. Not as impressive in the mouth, a bit austere and hollow, with more earthy, dusty notes than fruit, but still fairly impressive. My first Pinot Noir from Sancerre, and I am pleasantly surprised. 5-12-14-7: 88/100.
