June 1, 2023 - Medium body. Full mouthfeel of juiciness right away that gives into the tanins. Tanins follow perfectly and then leave right away. Yes, acidity will tingle the tip of the tongue . The smell is cherry and Welch’s grape. Taste is dark fruity berries , woodiness, hint of cinnamon , maybe allspice .

    May 4, 2023 - Impulse Purchase @ Costco
    13.5% abv - $9

Served (PnP) with Roast Duck Breast in Orange Sauce.

Clear Ruby Red in the Glass. Dark Red fruit on the nose; Blackberry and Cherry on the palate. Light to Medium bodied, seemed a little 'thin' in mouth-feel, yet pleasant. Tannins leave a slight pucker, somewhat tart, lingering finish. The Cherry notes complimented the Duck Breast. Sampled again the following day and the wine had opened up a little more.

April 17, 2023 - Pretty, red fruited very inexpensive red that hits a bit above pizza wine level.

May 4, 2022 - PNP and at first slightly acidic but with a nice sweetness in the background. 30 minutes in and ready to pour more. Much smoother now with some dark cherry flavors coming through. Not a long finish but what's there is slightly acidic still but very nice. Medium bodied and I would say this has a few years of life left in it.
Not sure how I found this wine, probably an email from BWO. I just went and looked and the description they give is spot on. I do have a few more bottles and will probably add a few more. For under 10 bucks this is a fantastic table wine. I'm giving this a 89 because there just aren't a lot of under 10 dollar wines out there that drink this good.
