August 3, 2019 - Perfect to drink now after a one hour decant (a bit thin at first, fattened out) . Wonderful flavours of tar and salty earth. Delicious

March 15, 2019 - Garnet color. Nose of tar and plum blossom cut with earth and violets. Layers of asphalt, strawberry, black cherry, leather, and late appearing deep blue plum with satisfying grip. Lower acidity and strong but fine-grained tannin leading to a long finish of concentrated currant, tar, and balsam, and stony earth. Caught in early adolescence with vibrant fruit vying with beginning complexity.

February 2, 2019 - Blind N. Italian at Chevalier: Gorgeous full nose shows mature sour cherry, herbs, balsamico and musk. The palate is very good concentration to the mature and layered cherry fruit. Medium-grain tannins are well melded to the fruit. In a very good spot now.

February 2, 2019 - Another Saturday at Chevalier...Mostly Blind Northern Italian Wine (Chevalier Fine Wines - Chicago IL): Blind tasting, small glass, brief note. Bright red cherry with good weight and balance, finishing with bright energy and an expanding finish. Overall good+ balance now.

October 22, 2018 - Cork came out in several pieces and after decanting this Barolo is
    well balanced and refined.
    Drink and enjoy!
