March 18, 2023 - Parfymert nese med bringebær, moreller, tobakk, nesten hint av pepper. Samme munn. Saftig lekker sak tanninene kommer fort i ettersmak. Meget lang og balansert. 93
August 3, 2022 - Quite good, but was expecting it to be more different since it's a cold-climate Cabernet from Sonoma.
I decanted for over 2 hours.
February 15, 2022 - A lovely cab that needed some air -- I gave it a two hour decant before dinner and it continued to improve over the next few hours. As others have mentioned, this is a cool climate, lower ABV wine that leans towards finesse rather than power. That said, plenty of structure here to suggest this will continue to improve.
November 10, 2021 - After initially being a little short and with a tiny bit of funk up front, it opened up after a few hours into the same beautiful rendition as the 2017 (see my description there). World class wine and for my palate and style preference - one of the best Cab's in California.
October 6, 2021 - Close to Hirsch (!), very cool climate for Cab. Medium nose shows herbal tones, sage, red pepper, blackberry, light graphite. Palate is soft, herbal driven, understated fruit and structure, lovely balance, but hard sell to CA drinkers?
