February 21, 2024 - dark, rich color, deep earthy and muddy aromas, soft velvet hollow, lingering finish and balance
February 18, 2024 - Made a lamb stew Provençal. This was the wine I both cooked with and drank. Supple and full bodied not great but oh so satisfying. Life is good.
January 11, 2024 - Big concentrated wine. Deep purple. High alcohol - a little hot. Moderate acidity. Med+ tannin. Ripe blue and red fruits without being jammy. Strong streak of minerality - graphite, with a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Good QPR and a quality table wine when the occasion calls for something bold.
September 14, 2023 - A bit of spice, darker fruited, balanced alcohol, simple but food friendly. 85
June 1, 2023 - Added a bit more to my cellar, see my previous notes, developing nicely
May 2, 2023 - On pop-and-pour, comes out aggressive and sharply herbal. After several hours of air, it is more approachable. Ripe blackberries, herbs, pepper. Low tannin, medium acidity. Short-to-medium finish. Okay for the price, but would wait another year or two.
March 27, 2023 - Delicious and such a good value. Brimming with black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, garrigue and lavender. My first time with Corbieres and this is great.
February 1, 2023 - And there is allot of steam and power to it. Gumption.
January 28, 2023 - Still a little early so could use a little more body. All in all very nice representation of a solid table wine.
