December 14, 2018 - So, so much oak. Overwhelming. That, combined with a monochromatic ripeness leaves this unidentifiable as Brunello. These are the wages of international-style, Parkerized shenanigans.

March 19, 2017 - Wow. Highly recommended! Paired well with baked ziti (with spicy sausage).

September 28, 2014 - Deep, structured, long. Delivers all the way. Still a little tannic - can be stored 5 more years without fading -- even become more intergrated.

March 2, 2014 - nose - wood, mushroom, mildly funky, eraser, heavy tannins, dark dried fruits and berries; taste - tiny bit hot on finish, chewy fruit with some tobacco and tar

September 8, 2013 - our last bottle of this, and really enjoyed it. fully mature at this point, with a lovely plum color slightly browning around the edges. nose was soft but driving with smoke and fruit. on the palate, this was still rich and yet soft/elegant in the mouth. very well enjoyed.
