September 20, 2009 - Chardonnay slide (Waterford Wines Milwaukee): whoa, today this nose is so not attractive, in a very dark automotive way. i love a greasy mechanic as long as there's a deal to be had, but no deal here.

July 21, 2009 - Structured and quiet but also tasted a bit "nutty" an old. And a bit cold. I guess I would say very interesting to see where it goes. Maybe aged out chardonnay fruit showing through. Something to think about certainly.

May 20, 2009 - 2nd day - very big nose of toasted marshmallow and almond. palate is much more in check than that wildly rich nose. hints of lavender and wild flower. nice bright medium acid with lingering spice. what's up with that nose???

October 4, 2008 - Brought this along to our first test of Jerry Traunfield's new restaurant Poppy. Delicious fruit, great nose. Not too much oak. Another consistently fine effort from Dan!

August 22, 2008 - Nose: Big toast, almonds, and some fig. Palate: Nice acidity, good balance of fig flavors and oak. Not overdone and well balanced. Decent effort but for the retail price there are better Chards out there that represent better QPR or better yet, go Burgundy.

September 26, 2007 - Hints of almonds and carmel. Very nice fruit, good bouquet. Should age gracefully...
