January 16, 2020 - Open and aromatic, also slightly unclean and wild on the nose - notes of barnyard, smoke and spices. On the palate very nice and well balanced. Good concentration of fruit, nice acidity and structure. Soft, lingering finish. Drink up, but no rush. 90-92

May 10, 2019 - Still pretty dark though clearly aged at the rim. Brooding but very clean nose (other vintages of this have had serious Brett). Palate reedy to start but filled out to be a little like Bandol meets Bordeaux. Pretty foursquare stylistically and no real tannic bite. Drink sooner I think - I can't see it improving.
