October 23, 2016 - Sweet blackcurrant and cedar wood nose. Maybe a little simple. Juicy blackcurrant, toasty oak palate. Still showing tannin, but nicely in balance with a succulent acidity. Still got for a few years but drinking nicely now. Warning: cork was a disaster and disintegrated, didn't seem to have an effect on the wine.

September 8, 2012 - Some oxidation, bit orange colour due to its age. Fruits are still prominent though. Some tannins left makeing it a powerfull bodied wine.

November 30, 2008 - Tight blackcurrant and raisin. Chocolate, leather and nail varnish also all on the nose. Mint on the long finish. The palate is still very tannic, tight and a little austere, yet powerful. But there's packs of flavour here on the mid palate waiting to explode. More time is needed.

August 4, 2007 - A deep red. Hedonistic, opulent nose of creamy, ripe blackcurrant, cassis, mint, menthol, becoming more vegetal in time. The palate is more indulgence, cedar, great power and structure alongside the minty black fruit. Quite strong, rich flavours of chocolate on the mid palate and long finish. A lovely, yet brutish, wine, packed with flavour and power. Plenty of time left too I think.

April 21, 2007 - Expected to be good, but not exceptional, and boy was I wrong. This is a great wine, still young, but with beautiful ripe, and aged flavours. On day two it started to show some alcohol, but that's the only downside.
