November 25, 2023 - Classic white burgundy. forward on the nose.
    Oak, butter, but not overpowering.
Layers of flavour in the mouth, well balanced.
Enjoyed with some sautéed green squash and garlic as an afternoon snack. Satisfying.

August 30, 2023 - Bit of a hazy yellow color. Medium body, medium-plus acid. Ripe melon on the nose, joined by more melon on the palate, along with some pronounced oak (though not distracting) and a bit of a chalky finish. Very good for its level.

August 25, 2023 - Very nice well balanced BB. Definitely worth it for the $20-25 price.

June 23, 2023 - Nose: Nice reduction with a bit of matchstick but very subtle. Pears and some flint minerals. Palate: A touch of oak frames things up with ample acids, apple and pear fruits, and an elegant finish. Much more in the zone versus the first bottle drank a year ago. This is in a nice place now with plenty of life left. Refreshing and perfect on a hot 92 degree day in MN. Glad to have 2 more left in the cellar.

March 17, 2023 - Pale gold in the glass. Flavors of lemon, honey and minerals with a bit of richness. It has a smooth mouthfeel and little acidity. Very nice for apero and with Petrale sole meal.

August 28, 2022 - A bit of spearmint and lots of minerality. Impressive Bourgogne, supposedly these are Puligny grapes. I may have to stock up on this.

August 12, 2022 - Pernot's 2020 Bourgogne Blanc is a limpid, light yellow Chardonnay that is immediately expressive of white peaches, Bartlett pears, citrus and white flowers. Light-to-medium-bodied, crisply acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (13%) and with only a hint of wood, it delivers flavors mirroring the nose and adds notes of wet stones. Although the mid-palate thins a bit, the resurrected finish is medium in length and the overall impression is very favorable for an entry-level white Burgundy. Good value here! Drink now-2025.

August 8, 2022 - Moderate lemon, subtle lemon, orange blossom, honeysuckle, and peach on the nose, round on the attack, followed by medicinal notes, herbs, brown butter, heat, spice, soft tannins and low acidity, finishes with more heat, lemon curd, wood and moderate earthy notes
