  April 18, 2023 - Great pair with my weeknight red sauce pasta.
  
  Day 2 tasting notes since i didn't bother when i opened the bottle yesterday evening.
  
  Herbal cherry cough drop, with a bit of cedar on the finish. Maybe a flash of smoked/roasted meat? Lingers on the palate longer than most in this price category. Med tannins, med acid. Very good balance and ripeness/freshnesss. Very primary but it has enough else going on so it's not boring.

  May 29, 2022 - Deep garnet in color, nose I have cherries raspberries and perfumey petroleum.
  Light body with smooth mild tannins, moderate/high acidity. Red fruit on the palate. Strong agree on other reviews, needs food. Not familiar with this style of wine but a good accompaniment with steak and the aforementioned pasta with marinara.
