March 21, 2019 - Similar to previous notes but more evolved. Tannic bit less, red fruits dominant. Delicious and at peak
December 29, 2016 - Subtle, light and fruity. Where am I, Carneros? But wonderfully elegant and great paired with this coq au vin.
August 21, 2016 - Elegant nose with lavender, stewed black cherries, and pumpkin spices. There is a silky mouth feel with mellowed acidity and Just enough tannins to grip the palate releasing ripe cherries, lime stone, strawberry, and pie crust, with a medium finish.
May 3, 2016 - Nice developed. No formal notes but I liked the fullness and complexity
March 11, 2016 - Expected a bit more but a very good effort. Opened up over the course of an hour. A bit thin at first but better and better. Not sure QPR is there.
November 2, 2015 - Great fruit, tart acid, herbs, Burg earthiness
October 6, 2015 - Opened and poured into a glass for 1 hour before drinking. Good nose of red fruits. Still with a bit of a tannic bite. Clearly has filled out in the mid palate. With pork tenderloin. Very good. May get better but seems at or near peak.
September 24, 2015 - Pop and pour. Over the last four years, this has filled out and gained more depth. Palate is all black fruit with plum dominating.
July 14, 2015 - incredible nose of mushroom and earth - maybe even some ash tray. deep and rich. this continues to evolve and improve. really good. !!
