October 8, 2021 - Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim. Not showing age much.

Fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, cherries, figs, chocolates, tobacco, mocha, coke, earth, cedar, spices, vanilla, licorice, raisins, leather and black pepper.

Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black cherries, sweet raspberries, tobacco, cola, coffee, cedar, chocolates, peppercorn, earth, leather, vanilla, licorice and spices.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a gorgeous Napa Cabernet from a great vintage. Showing great complexity and a great mouthfeel.

This 9 year old is drinking very nicely now. Well balanced, tasty and delicious. Smooth and rich.

I had the 2013 a few months ago, and I liked this vintage even better.
Will age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Still has a lot to offer.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (1 hour). I used the Vspin to save some time.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

September 25, 2021 - Aerated with a Vinturi. Nose of black cherry, currant, anise, chocolate, spice, vanilla and underbrush. Ripe black fruit, anise, chocolate, underbrush and fine tannins on the palate. Very long finish. Full bodied. Served with hickory smoked, reverse seared strip steaks and a bordelaise sauce.

July 31, 2021 - Decanted for an hour before we started ... the last sip with 2.5 hour decant was superb. Great nose with blackberries and cherries. Long finish. Glad I have more in my cellar!

April 21, 2021 - Bold aromas of blackberry, oak, granit, violets and spice. Decanted for 3 hours. On the palate, black cherries and raspberries with licorice and earthy flavors. Silky tannins and a 10-15 second finish.
