April 6, 2024 - Local Wine Shop Tasting (My average score for April went way down) (Bloomington, MN): Might be the worst SB I have ever tasted. Just nothing going on here and lacks fruit and the grassy notes I like from New Zealand.
October 26, 2023 - PnP. It's been a long time since I had this wine, once my house white. First bottle of my last case. Grass on the nose. minerality on the clean palate with just a touch of bitterness in the finish. This mass-produced wine, widely available, is a very wine, and while not excellent, it is an excellent value. I have not yet tried the '22 or (just released) '23 vintages. (86-87).
May 17, 2023 - citrus grapefruit minerals green apple
April 25, 2023 - PnP, chilled. A nice expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Lots of grapefruit, gooseberry and citrus. Zesty and food friendly acidity. Will probably hold.
February 21, 2023 - Good wine for the availability. 89
January 4, 2023 - My first Marlborough Sauv Blanc - very tangy, citrusy, with a hint of lemongrass. Stands out from Loire and CA SBs that I’ve tried
December 24, 2022 - A basic light, crisp gooseberryish freshly fruited dry wine with a medium finish. 12.5%.
December 10, 2022 - Apple, peach, melon. Acidic for a white. Gasoline, plastic aftertaste
December 9, 2022 - Year after year, this never fails to be our go to Sauvignon Blanc. Great fruit and refreshing acidity.
November 16, 2022 - Very good Q2P ratio, some complexity on the palate, for this mass-produced wine.
