June 2, 2022 - Great med body red for fish, chicken or summer porch (drink a bit chilled). Dark cherry and blueberry, med body with good balance of tannin and acid. I decanted for 20 mins, aromas opened up.

May 17, 2022 - Been drinking a lot of good Chianti Classico and CCRs recently, and, I don't know, this just did not measure up. Not bad, but more modern in style, with plenty of forward fruit and dressed up in plenty of oak. Seemed to have a little confected sweetness. Good, but I was hoping for something a little more old-school in style.

April 15, 2022 - Deep clear-ruby color, bright. Aromatics of black cherry & orange rind, eucalyptus, tea, clove, dried red florals. Rich density on the palate, expressive red fruit with those hints of citrus high tones over a core of savory and mild oak spices, red florals and loamy earth. Thick structure, dense and round, with taut acid and firm fleshy tannin, finishing with moderate length of baking spice and red plum. Extremely solid in this range. Agree with the note below that it’s a bit modern, but definitely delivers a lot of breadth and depth at around or under $30.
