January 19, 2024 - Tasty. Earth, mineral, briar and dark fruit. Speaks Italian on the finish.
January 6, 2024 - I never thought I would say this, but this wine is tart and bitter with a dry finish and I love it. Black cherry and judicious oak add balance and pleasure. I don't usually like Syrah mixed with Bordeaux blends but this has enough lift and dust to taste Italian. Delicious.
March 3, 2023 - dark fruits, old world style. moderate tannins
February 4, 2023 - Very nice blend of Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet with big bursts of fruit. Nose of black pepper and a hint of grassy meadow/forest floor. Palate is bold and intense with flavors of black cherry and cranberry. Tannins are strong enough to complete the overall balance.
December 18, 2022 - Keep it cellared to allow runway to balance.
November 28, 2022 - Quite good. Had with pasta with Rao’s Homemade, lots of ground beef, and truffle pecorino. Big bodied with red and black fruit flavors as well as ample tannins. Good now but better with some cellar time.
April 6, 2022 - Outstanding Super-Tuscan with lovely red fruit aromas. Luscious and harmonic mouthfeel. Multiple layers of fruit possessing depth and elegance.
