Community Tasting Notes 1

May 11, 2008 - Herbaceous nose, with hay, earth and light tobacco. On the palate, its youth is obvious. Again, mostly herbaceous notes with little obvious fruit. Earth, underbrush and muted cherry are present. The finish is much more tannic than expected. This really improves with some air! It is much more supple and balanced. The tobacco really comes out in the nose and ripe, luscious cherry makes itself known both on the nose and the palate. This wine becomes quite refreshing and spirited.
