December 31, 2023 - PnP, just lovely. Consistently one of the top red wine values in the world. This 2019 is classic in style/build (no surprise), with plenty of red fruits, loads of fresh acidity and perfectly ripe tannins. An excellent partner to food. I'll drink my remaining bottle in the next couple of years - even if it will last longer. DIAM 5, 13,5% abv. Enthusiastically recommended+

November 9, 2023 - Similar to the 2018 Mori Chianti, but less aromatic at the moment, and more structured. Still, this is typical of Sangiovese, with red berries and cinnamon supported by earthy tannin and fresh acidity. Blackcurrant bush and florals on the finish. Drink 2024 - 2029.

August 27, 2023 - My third bottle of L149322, this has definitely closed down since the last one eight months ago, which I liked a lot, and might be the least enjoyable Mori CC I’ve had. Consumed over three nights, it was tight and unyielding, with very bright, lip-smacking red fruits; 87 today, with a structure that should take it back to a 91 or 92 in a few years. Unlike the previous two bottles, and unlike most Chianti, this did not gain heft and sweetness with each passing night. Fingers crossed that this is just a dumb phase, which is common among Chianti.
