July 2, 2023 - Instantly recognizable nose for leidenfrost - I call it mineral and honeysuckle. Mouth is fresh with a lemony zip, herbs, mineral, stone.

June 29, 2023 - Previously tasted 7 months ago at the winery, this was first from bottle. Floral and tart white orchard fruit notes on the nose. As it warms, some distinct white and green melon notes come through cleanly. Medium bodied with melon and pear upfront, leading to white apple through the middle. Lots of depth through the middle, but much of it is still concealed. Very good length on the finish with the lemon, other tart citrus notes and acidity contributing strongly. There's enough depth and structure here for this to continue to improve. I'll plan to open my next bottle in Q1 2024.

December 7, 2022 - Pale golden. Floral notes on the nose. Medium bodied. With airing, the nose subsides a bit, but the palate becomes richer, with concentrated lemon and grapefruit and a lingering finish. Full of flavor and character. Balanced.
