Community Tasting Notes 1

October 17, 2021 - Tasting Training for WSET Level 4, Units D4 + D5 - Session 9: The wine has a pale lemon colour. The nose has pronounced intensity and shows primary characteristics of floral notes (blossom), green fruit (grape, pear) and stone fruit (peach).

On the palate the wine is medium-sweet, with medium acidity, medium alcohol, and a medium body. The flavour intensity is pronounced, flavours mirror the nose and include primary characteristics of floral notes (blossom), green fruit (grape, pear) and stone fruit (peach). The wine has a soapy texture, the finish has medium length, with a sugary aftertaste. The overall impression is a simple.

This is a good quality wine since it has very good intensity, shows medium complex primary characteristics, the alcohol is well-integrated, and the wine has medium length. To be considered being of very good quality the wine would need greater length and in particular greater complexity.

This wine is defined by its fresh fruit and ready to drink, and not suitable for further ageing in bottle.

    NB: Nomacork.
