  December 12, 2023 - Feel like this lacked balance from the get go and never really settled as it breathed for a few hours. This is a pretty “hot” tasting wine and is very up front black cherry and licorice aromas. Medium bodied with zippy tannins but they lacked finesse. Not too spicy or jammy. For $20, you could do worse but I don’t think I’ll be buying another bottle.
  
  Edit: left some under vacu vin in the fridge for a week and it was significantly better, in my opinion this one REALLY needs to breathe. Updated from 85 to 88
