September 9, 2023 - In 2015 I said I wanted to try this wine again in a decade, and I made it 8 years. Great showing. Deep nose of guava, peach nectar, yellow flowers, honeycomb, sea salt, whipped butter, crushed slate. The palate has a chunky texture but lively acidity, keeping things rich and deep but balanced. Full and intense, but these chalky, salty, slate, limestone vibes keep it all tingly and inspiring. Great times sharing this wine with some climbing buddies while planning future adventures.
April 2, 2022 - Nez singulier, sur une trame fumée & empyreumatique intense. L'aération laisse plus de place à un fruité à chaire blanche comme la poire, la pêche entre autre. Le bouquet est vif, en fraîcheur, énergique. Un aspect floral complète le bouquet.
La bouche semble fermé, principalement sur une amertume & un impression forte de pierre à fusil. Le temps apporte un peu plus de rondeur & de fruité à l'ensemble. Texture agréable, à la fois huileuse en attaque avec un impression minérale forte en milieu fin de bouche. Somme toute assez costaud & large, mais pas facile à apprécier avec son peu de fruit.
August 31, 2021 - Still very young in its presentation, starting friendly and pure but, for me, with a bit too much residual sugar in the second part of the taste.
Maybe I will taste this bottle once again in, let's say, 4 to 5 years from now. I think this wine is still developing.

April 18, 2019 - Hints of mango & leeche nut on the nose. Small petroleum note on the palate as well as lychee nut, and an unknown element - maybe mango? Or ?? Very enjoyable with Asian food. Not sweet, but not dry. Lovely pairing.
January 6, 2019 - Robe jaune dorée;
Nez vif, vibrant, sur des fruits à chaire jaune (ananas entre autre), aspect floral en arrière plan, légère impression saline & pierre chaude. Beau bouquet ample & complexe.
Bouche vive, large, qui prends de l'ampleur dès l'attaque. Ensemble précis, crystalin & frais. Équilibre exemplaire, impression minérale & légère touche empyreumatique en finale. Finale longue & salivante sur des épices. Excellent!
June 19, 2017 - Very elegant and balanced, but for this level a bit too lean.
March 5, 2017 - During a walkabout tasting, so only brief impressions. Fresh and light, good mid palate, a bit too grassy for my taste. I like the German Riesling aroma profile better.
August 23, 2016 - From magnum. Intense, fat and milky. Steely concentration, fullbodied and fruit forward. One to cellar, future potential is much higher than current evaluation.
May 3, 2016 - Lots & lots of minerals and rather closed now. Some fruit peeking through but will need at least 5+ years. may be a superb wine with time
