November 13, 2012 - Solid Pinot character, not overdone and about the right age to drink it.

February 11, 2011 - Bright cherry colour, moderate depth. Interesting but not hugely complex aroma, sour cherries and spice, possibly a little too much oak sweetness for my taste. Good weight and quite silky tannins.

January 22, 2010 - Pop and poured, light elegant Raspberries nose. Eventually evolving into dark cherry nose ending off with a hint of orange peel zest. On the palate, the wine is spritzy with a cherry cola taste like Paul mentioned in his TN. Good long cherrish finish.

April 13, 2009 - I enjoyed this very much. Lovely nose, all clean and high-toned with with cherry, cola, flowers, bramble and orange peel. Same high-tone carried on into the palate, with more cherry and cola laced with clean, fresh acidity and a stoney, granitic minerality. There was a little gap on the mid-palate before the longish finish came seeping in with a tiny touch of heat, lots of orange peel and lots more of that stoney mineral. With time, the awkward bits rounded out some, the heat faded, and that litlte gap filled up nicely. The wine got a little spritzy, and showed perfumed sweet cherries, redcurrants, cranberries. and an orangey citrus note wed to the tiniest bit of umami at the finish. Great aromatics. Whatever it lacked in power, it more than made up for it with charm and lithe lightness. Hidden under all that though, was a layer of firm tannins that gave the wine some bite. Lovely now, with lots of room to improve. An excellent new world pinot.
