November 4, 2007 - good stuff, same as last bottle.

day two, more pepper, still excellent.

October 4, 2007 - excellent syrah/grenache/mouvedre blend, big smoke and blackberry on the nose and rich, deep, and complex oak, berry, fruit, pepper and smoke on the tongue. rounded out with a nice, mid-length finish. bought a bottle after tasting and was tempted to open it all evening. great stuff, and a very nice surprise as I didn't expect much from this clunky-labeled bottle. b's notes: really, really wonderful wine. full of flavor, not too overpowering, interesting, oaky and spicy. (93)
