April 8, 2023 - Al naso gradevolmente profumato, frutti rossi, spezie ed erbe. Al palato strutturato e corposo, accenni minerali. Ottimo equilibrio, tannini setosi e potenti, giusta acidità. Caldo e persistente. Barbera di altissima qualità.

January 8, 2023 - Very very good value and a superb expression of Barbera D’Alba. Lusciously fruited but with an austere inclination to yield interest with every sip. Having had the 2016 twice this vintage is the equal- super winemaking here- not sure I can think of a better bottling of the appellation.

April 16, 2022 - Decanted 1 hour to let wine open a bit. Nice nose of ripe black berries w/fairly good legs. Flavor of blackberries & light plums w/good balanced finish. Went well with appetizer of prosciutto & sharp provolone & entree of sausage & peppers
