January 5, 2010 - Not particularly complex, although it opens up a bit after a 1/2 hour or so. Has some oak to it. Not a bad value for <$15.

June 16, 2009 - I enjoyed this wine quite a bit. I do think it is a simple wine. Oak is the predominant flavor for sure. After about 45 minutes, the flavor had opened up, but it did not develop into other flavors. Very good value. For $14 or so, I will buy more for sure.

February 18, 2009 - At this price, a very nice wine. Deep violet color. Not huge body, but pleasant cherry and oak medium-bodied balance.

November 7, 2008 - This and Avalon seem to win out on the moderate priced CABS. A little too much mocha and coffee but overall a true value CAB.

October 31, 2008 - We actually liked this. Didn't pick up the OAK that others have said. Not a bad drinking wine. For the right price, wouldn't mind picking up more.

August 7, 2008 - I have to agreee with alreadyused review on 3/16/2008, "Nothing but Oak". A very flat finish. Certainly not worth the $14.00.

July 4, 2008 - Trip to Rob and Carol's (Huntington Beach, CA): dark purple colored with tons of blackberry and toast oak on the nose. solid palate of black cherries and currants, but this is surely a cab for those who like oak and chocolate. would complement a big steak well, or something to sip after dinner. not bad for the price.
