June 20, 2014 - The color? Purple!! .... and more purple!! The nose is sweet with cherry and mint. The cherry dominates the palate from attack to finish, but is joined by the sweetness of blueberry juice and slight tobo. The finish is all cherry and cinnamon. The wine is very young and very primal just now. This has the components to go the distance, and I’d recommend holding another 7 more years. 14.3% alc. With cheeses, ham, olives, crusty bread and salami. Recommended..
