August 31, 2023 - So let’s get this out of the way
16% alcohol is ridiculously too much…
Alcohol on the nose.. on the palate…:
    Everclear anyone??
    Now for the rest
Raspberry framboise earth spice all so delicious ..
    Tannins present but nice….
Damn this could have been great but sadly the alcohol overwhelms… does it settle out overtime?
I am glad I will never know as it’s my only bottle

March 19, 2023 - 90% grenache 10% mourvedre. Great, rich nose - BBQ and salted herbs. On the palate, it's baking spices hiding some very subtle dried fruit leather, smoke and tannins. Great bottle that's going to continue to develop for a long time.

August 17, 2022 - There was a heavy dose of alcohol on the nose at first, but with air it does pull back to an extent. Thpigh the alcohol note is there, thankfully there is a lot more with black cherries, black raspberries, licorice, kirsch notes, black fruits, crushed rocks, Asian spices, hoisin, violets, and garrigue. While the black fruits really shine through, the more herbal and Provençal qualities are very much there. The Full bodied feel is youthful and a bit boozy with medium acidity and sneaky, medium+ tannins. The structure does deceive a bit as it is clearly there. But, this also feels like a Chateauneuf du Pape that will be on the earlier drinking side.
