  October 28, 2008 - Clear core of dark plum (opaque) out to a thin red edge and thin watery rim - young in appearance. Clean but very tight nose - some plum, cherry, cedar with a whack of new oak. Dry but very tight on the palate - very old time Bordeaux - with cedar and light plum flavours of moderate intensity. Moderate+ tannin, with moderate acid, body and alcohol. The finish is moderate+ with spice, alcohol and vanilla. Wait on this one - will develop for up to 10 years.

Tag: aufgemacht und getrunken, 13,50 % alc., purpurrot, in der Nase Kirsch, Kakao, eher verhalten, am Gaumen schöne Frucht, wenn man sich auch wünscht, dass alles etwas ausgeprägter und mit mehr Druck versehen wäre, was mir gefällt, ist die Frische, Tannine sind überhaupt nicht störend, der Wein läßt sich sehr einfach trinken, vielleicht zu einfach, irgendwie stellt er einen nicht zufrieden ....
  2. Tag: hübsche Nase nach roten Früchten und Beeren, auch am Gaumen gefällig, nach wie vor keine störenden Tannine, alles sehr fein, frische Säure, guter Trinkfluss, das ist für mich ein einfacher, guter Bordeaux, der sich gut als Essensbegleiter eignet. Nicht mehr - derzeit jedenfalls. Ich wüsste aber nicht, was da noch kommen sollte.....
