  October 12, 2023 - 6:45 PM – Initial decant wafted up huge nose of flowers. Mélange of all kinds of fresh smells intermingled with tart berry. In the glass there were more meats, blood and citrus.
  Palate was dense with ripe blackberry, cherry, tart of cherry with a texture of richness and acid of overcoming all palate. Second sip shows more of its organic Syrah nature. The tannins are biting with the tart of the berry and length that shows citrus rind with fresh baked bread reminding me of dense loaf with thick crust, warm soft center full of big holes.
  
  Ripe elderberry, ripe blackberry, hint of apple, lime essence, salt, hardness of chalky minerals all reduced then that fresh loaf center dipped in it to taste.
  
  7:30 PM second pour into my Riedel Burgundy:
  Nose of tart meats. Cured meats in a ripe blackberry sauce.
  Juicy and real. Great berry and meats with a chalky mineral finish.
  
  Bought 9 of these at auction from K&L and this might be my last, but I think there’s two more somewhere.

  Real and authentic.
  Tastes of natural production where they let the grapes speak without that manipulation.
  Could drink this every night.
