September 18, 2020 - Wonderful earthy leathery nose. As expected for an older wine, started well balanced and nice, became a bit thin, then matured with nice tannins. Drink soon.

    February 16, 2020 - PnD let air for 1hr.

Clear medium ruby. No sign of garnet/bricking despite reviews indicating this was past the drinking window.

Clean. Medium intensity with aromas of cedar cassis blackberry herbs and crushed stones.

Dry. Medium alcohol. Medium acidity. Medium(+) tannins. Medium body. Medium intensity with flavours of cassis plum mushroom leatherand herbs.

Medium(+) with notes of blackberry torrefaction and tobacco. Very good. Drink now not suitable for further ageing. This has held up beyond expectation. In a real sweet spot. Drink up.

April 1, 2019 - Delicious, drinking at peak now. Mature fruit and earth and no avert acidity for me.

December 9, 2018 - Initially wonderful with great balance and leather. Quickly turned acidic so drink this quickly with no decanting time or you will miss the beauty.
