July 3, 2021 - Retail $50. 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Meunier. It has been almost a year since I last popped a cork of this wine and while the tasting notes remain similar, I think this has improved over the last 12 months. This bottle seems both yeastier and creamier than I remember, which are both positives, for sure. Add to that the rich tree fruit, fervent sparkle, and slightly oxidized aspect, yeah. Whoa.

February 5, 2021 - Very nice, fruity, fine mousse. Seems to have a little more dosage than typical brut. Not at all sweet, just body and fruit.

January 2, 2021 - Light yeasty and mildly citric nose. Some brioche and red berries (mostly PN in blend) on the palate, along with med. - acidity. Medium length finish. Simplistic, especially on day 1. Gained a bit of complexity on day 2. Rating reflects good QPR.

December 12, 2020 - Really pleasantly surprised by this one. No notes as consumed outdoors casually. Fresh apple, some lemon, some bake apple. Fresh with a nice finish too.

Solid deal from a $60 K&L 2-pack last year that included 2017 Frederic Esmonin Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Prieur (which has CT Ave. $34)
