Community Tasting Notes 3

February 9, 2023 - Zombie wines of North London (Terra Rossa): Pretty mature, with soft, red fruit and a green streak. Some dusky floral notes developed, too. Very easy drinking.

February 9, 2023 - Zombie Wines at Terra Rossa (Terra Rossa, Islington): Dark red. Olive tapenade in a glass. Fruit gone, tannins gone, some tertiary elements but surprisingly few. So what is left? Not much really! Had a couple of sips and tipped it. Not terrible by any means, but any glory days are well behind it. Others rated this much more positively.

April 24, 2022 - Opened up beautifully after an hour in a decanter. Still quite thick, and even has some purple edges to an otherwise brick red colour. The somewhat subdued nose has wet hessian, forest floor and floral character. The palate is dominated by berry fruits - mulberries and blackberries. Still has some light tannic grip. Will last many years. Drink before 2035.
