April 14, 2024 - Really enjoyed this.
Decanted and definitely needs more time to open up.
Nice tannins and acidity.
Notes of plum, cherry, currant, and leather.
Over the course of an hour, opened up nicely and was delicious at the end.

December 21, 2023 - Medium dark ruby red with orange tint and pink rim. Dried red fruits, dark cherry, plum, prune, floral, tobacco, herbs, and earth. Medium-high acidity, high tannin, medium-full bodied, medium alcohol. Complex and balanced. Good structure, and long finish. This bottle is drinking well now with 2 hours of decanting. It would be better in a few years when the tannin softened.
