  January 15, 2024 - This has always been one of our favorite mid-tier Cabs. It never disappoints. But we were very curious how it stacked up against other Paso Robles mid-tier Cabs so we blind tasted against a similar $30 cab from Justin. We were eating a robust beef stew. There were only four of us, but this won easily. Much smoother and less tannic.

  January 12, 2024 - Good example of Pasa Robles, without any gripping tannis.
  
  Ripe to past ripe dark plum, savory black fruits with the tartness, coffee / toffee.
  
  Long finish for price point. Amber loved it.

  December 25, 2023 - Hung over today so took it easy. This wine was recommended to me by a wine rep.
  
  Inky, dark purple. Full bodied.
  Loads of dark fruit. Blueberry pie. Oak and vanilla and all spice.
  This is a full throttle red that takes no pirisoners. Needs a lot of air. Drink cellar cool.
  Overly extracted. A little too sweet. Tastes like the nose. It may balance out in the years to come, but I'm not convinced. It's not a bad wine, and will be a crowd pleaser for many; just not for me.

  Dark purplish-cherry (opaque) color with some legs [4]
  Dark fruits on the nose [13]
  Bold, fruit-forward, vanilla, blackberry and plum with medium tannins [17]
  Oak, earthy, and a smoother finish [7]

  November 24, 2023 - Just a nice everyday great cab. Not expensive but I think it'd rate well in a blind tasting. A full cab, great legs, very flavorful. Likely will get better over the next couple of years.
