  November 16, 2023 - Deep purplish ruby red. A bit muted on the nose even with being open for 3-4 hours. Heavy tannins (7.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Rich on the palate with cassis, baking spices and a hint of earthiness. Long finish. Drink till 2035.

  November 16, 2023 - Strong body with tannins but integrated and youthful.
  
  This would be good with Steak.
  
  My guess is 16+ months in new French oak but that’s a guess. I wish I knew the blend and making of this wine. I almost think it may have 5% pv? The oak and tannins (not too much vanilla though which is interesting) are strong but enjoyable. A long long finish. I may be a little harsh on the score.

  August 21, 2023 - Another great showing although I detected more pyrazines this time. Beautifully balanced with great acidity. Love this wine.

  November 25, 2022 - Drank a bottle with dinner, the prior tastes were all at the wine museum at oakville grocery. Decanted on arrival, drank over almost 2 hours. Got more of a sense of how it evolves over time. Although initially the purity of fruit came across it only filled out with time. Some oak spices started emerging a bit more prominently as well. Just such a super wine.
