Community Tasting Notes 5

April 12, 2020 - Bordeaux like. Great blend delivering old world style at this age.

December 11, 2013 - Enjoyed at Del Frisco's in Chicago along with a 94 Diamond Creek Red Rock Terrace and an 01 Chateau Lynch Bages. This wine was ready to drink right out of the decanter and was surprisingly young tasting and approachable versus the other wines.

Dark berry with a hint of raspberry, anise and subtle smoke. There was not the complexity of the DC once it finally opened but is continuing to drink very well.

September 18, 2010 - Dark cherries, anise, mint and finished with some smokey cedar notes. The wine was a B/B+, it was a little tired. The tasting came from 1.5L

April 28, 2009 - It had a great nose of leather and dark berries. This wine is at the end but I really enjoyed, not much fruit left but a lot of complexities. I love when a wine leaves you with questions about what you just had and this one did that for me and others.

February 26, 2007 - expected much worse given other reviews... got beat by the 90 and 89 Mondavi reserves we had that night. but a very pretty wine.
