December 20, 2021 - Under screw cap of love, note made about 8 hours after opening, no decant but plenty of slam, whilst watching the cricket and basking in a very pleasing litigation result.
Colour is white gold with a hint of straw.
Nose is fresh, rock melon, peach; party time!
Palate is similar, decent intensity and length, lovely pure fruit and a nice mouthfeel that is just short of mineral/chalky. An uncomplicated but very pleasing wine. Made for summer, hookers, hooters and blow. I say this only in the most positive way. Sometimes you just don't want to over think things. This is great for what it is. Think the Rom Coms that work (yes, there are one or two). Boogie!
