Community Tasting Notes 6

March 17, 2020 - Tale of two sides here. The nose was 92 and the palate was more like 87-88. This wine did gain weight in the glass over time and as it warmed up. The nose is very nice - lemon, lees, nutty, tangy, minerals and richness and nice yellow flowers. On the palate there was simply more oxidation than I prefer. Color was light/medium yellow so was definitely not OTH. My experience with Ente is the energy is booming and that was not the case here. It was good but not exceptional. Drink up.

May 16, 2019 - Round and inviting nose with developing yellow fruit, somewhat leesy which I like. Dense and rich palate. More organic than reductive. Less familiar with these wines but very impressed every time. Mike kept saying he thought there should be more power, but the rest of us thought it was great. 92-93.

September 15, 2012 - A bit fat but enough structure to hold it all together. Very full in the mouth, almost oily texture. Classic buttery, nutty Meursault palate. A bit soft, ready to drink now I think. ***
