    August 20, 2020 - 4th of 6, opened 30 minutes, apparently perfect cork and level, even darker than last bottle, drinkable but POXy flavours now intrusive, as so often the case with white Burg moved from barely ready to POXed in less than a year, drink up! QG (14).

    July 23, 2020 - 3rd of 6, opened 30 minutes, spongey half travelled cork, perfect level, heightened colour, more vanilla, less balancing citrus zest and zip, broader and flabbier flavours, than a year ago, sense of ageing rapidly in this bottle, drink. F+ (18).

    May 30, 2020 - Lys farge ved åpning, gylden gul etter å ha vært luftet på karaffel i en halvtime-time. Moden nese. Ganske old-school Meursault. Moden frukt, smør, gule blomster, hvit pepper, fat. Harmonisk i munn. Moden, myk og saftig frukt. Konsentrert. Mangler ikke syre, men den er ganske avrundet og snill. Drikker perfekt nå. Om denne ideelt sett kunne vært enda mer transparent på duft og livlig i munn, må det sies at den er utrolig imponerende for årgangen.

    December 25, 2019 - Extraordinaire nez de miel, cire et pétrole. Bouche ample, ronde. Très longue finale

    July 13, 2019 - 2nd of 6, pnp, perfect cork and level, tighter and more zip than last June's bottle, now in early maturity. VF+ (19)…..classier and more complete than previous night's PYCM Chevalier!

    June 29, 2019 - Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner with Musicians (1243 Bourgogne Society - Beaune): Small glass, brief note. Rich stone fruit, dense and fleshy, still nicely fresh. Bright mineral textures but this isn't showing much acidity, but it's clearly there in the background, otherwise the wine could never seem this bright.

    June 16, 2018 - 1st of 6, decanted 45 minutes, perfect cork and level - mid yellow, leggy; lemon cut, nicely mineral, flowers, pear and white peach; medium, very long, concentrated and persistent, slightly blowsy richness of fruit perfectly complemented by citric lift, impressive and v young. VF (18.5)....... just edged PYCM Chevalier 06 on night and clearly a step up on the Charmes!
