September 15, 2023 - It's good that it's humble yet everlasting, but it's more important that it be good, and this mélange of bruised sour cherries (where they get dead spots all over them as they get damaged in transit), mid mulberries, green bell, and pencils was insufficiently rich or lively enough over the six days I waded through a mag of it

March 21, 2021 - From Magnum, decanted about 4 hours and drank over a few more.
This is really very good, and while drinking beautifully & now has years and years to go. Pretty full bodied (with a Sunday roast, which was a great pairing, someone guessed 'classic Bordeaux'...and everyone liked it a lot), deep, pretty smooth, with good lift - lots of nicely ripe cab franc characteristics - nothing green but also nothing OTT, pretty complex, very complete & very satisfying. 29 Euros for a magnum in 2020 - (sadly, when I looked, much, much, more in the UK...) but for what I paid, gotta be one of the best value wines out there ( John Gilman described it as 'ridiculously superb value' and he is not wrong!!) From magnum, I would wager good until 2030 + ....easy 92, I might be being conservative (with score and drink dates)

January 15, 2021 - Slow ox for one hour from a magnum. Lovely nose of raspberry, cranberry, a touch of bell pepper, earth and smoke. The wine is medium bodied, well balanced, sappy, velvety with a satisfying finish. This is lovely stuff and should continue to age for at least ten years.

Two days later this is still in great shape.
