May 3, 2017 - Deep yellow. A bit torn on this one. Very rich and full for the varietal. Better as it opened.

October 22, 2016 - Delicious Chablis; still fresh, mineral, lemon, and white fruit. Touch of lanolin. Good presence on the palate. Not the most profound Chablis out there but a nicely representative one and a great value at $35.

August 8, 2016 - Served chilled, but not cold. Light gold color. Honey and citrus blossom aromas. No edges. Round. Lemon zest and wet stone. The finish is full and has some drive. 91

October 1, 2014 - Tastevin (Racquet Club Chicago): Lemon and serious mineral notes. I found this slightly austere and angular. Others enjoyed it more than I did.

June 8, 2014 - Drank this with fish at Avra in New York for a birthday dinner with Eric et al. A hint of acid on pop 'n pour that quickly went away (5 minutes). Dark yellow color, but not syrupy looking. Smooth and tasty from the get-go. After an hour, the wine got smoother. This is an elegant wine, but not an Oh My wine, which I was expecting after laying it down these past 5 years; AND, at the price point. At 75 minutes, there was a background hint (very slight) of petrol. This was a delightful wine to drink now, or hold. FYI, there was nothing to smell. No nose.

(Joseph Drouhin Chablis-Vaudesir) #1; COLOR-golden; NOSE-extremely aromatic and exotic; mangos w/ some light butter spray; a gorgeous amount of mango & tropical fruit; some nice blue stone as well; TASTE-this wine brings electricity on the palate is phenomenal; absolutely rich & complex; gorgeous fruit bouncing around; actually getting a little ripe green banana on the attack that I enjoy quite a bit; a little hint of mango; great acid throughout; polished; great roundness; very complex; this is a "bang-up" Chablis; this wine has layers and layers of complexity, fruit and minerality; this is a rounded out, polished and balanced Chablis; spectacular & phenomenal Chardonnay; AM-90/93; GV-93
