February 23, 2019 - Very rich, extracted for Brunello, caramel, brown sauce, good but a bit over the top. Heritage Auction Blind Tasting at Jean-Georges Vegas after party

January 20, 2019 - Cinnamon and baking spices. Medium bodied and silky. Still beautiful color.

December 16, 2018 - The 97 vintage finally lives up to the reports. This was outstanding. Cherry, smooth, just singin.

November 12, 2018 - This used to be an overextracted oak monster. Now it has mellowed a ton. Still though, it does have some drying tannins on the finish from the oak. They have modified their style with more recent vintages to use less new oak.

June 30, 2018 - Opened and consumed over a few hours. A bit of mustiness in the nose early on but great flavor. This is still drinking really well
