May 4, 2015 - Stunned that a Barbera could last 17 years. Drank with Loriano visiting, as it was his cousin Guido who gave it to me years ago. Not very complex but smooth as silk. No tannins at all. An even nose, but still perky on the palate. We toasted Guido!

November 23, 2009 - Garnet red, a bit cloudy. Slightly oxydised nose, but then aromas of earth, cigar and spices begin to emerge. Mouth is still nice, with a cherry finish. Past peak, but a nice wine. (2001-2007)
