June 19, 2015 - Very nice, very smooth. Little to no hint on tannin but plenty dry. Absolutely no alcohol bite. Juicy and delicious. Don't see more age helping.

February 8, 2015 - Winter Birds and Waterfowl Wine Event (Judith's House, WI): Very dark red/purple color. PNP, drank 1 glass over an hour. The nose has plenty of blackberry and cassis. The palate has glycerin, blackberry liqueur, medium plus body, blueberry, sweet fruit, good length, wood and some heat. Much better than the last bottle and more typical in general. I'd probably polish these off with the next couple years.

January 18, 2015 - Deep dark purple in the glass. On the nose: powdered cocoa, dark cherry, and poblano pepper. On the palate: Very tannic with good acidity. tart fruit and zesty mouth feel but not overly complex. Very slight green pepper component on the medium finish but not off-putting.
