December 10, 2023 - Decanted. Now 1.5h after decant. Shy aromas of flint, apples, minerals, and a bit of grapefruit pith. Palate w flint, barely ripe tart apples, flint, minerals, and herbs. Med+ body w excellent acids. Excellent depth and concentration. Nice finish of fruit, flint, amd minerals. Tastes as is there's still more lurking underneath. But drinking well now. 90+

September 3, 2023 - As per previous note. Really good stuff. I would add that the wine would benefit from some air. I think it was at its best after c.1.5 hours. Excellent value for money.

July 29, 2023 - Decanted. Now 45 min after decant. Nice aromas of golden delicious apples, a bit of just ripe pears, minerals, and a hint of wet wool. Palate w ripe apples, minerals, and a bit of herbs. Medium+ body with nice acids. Nice finish of apples, minerals, and a nice hit of lemon. Nicely balanced with good depth and weight. If blinded the nose could have fooled me for pinot blanc (pears) or chenin blanc (wet wool) but the palate is chardonnay. Lacks complexity but really enjoying the balance, depth and acids. Nicely done for a bourgogne level. 89+

June 11, 2023 - Fantastic stuff. If someone had told me this is Meursault without showing me the bottle I would have believed them. Great wine! I will be stocking up on this one.

April 22, 2023 - Lopa pickup. Declassified Meursault and I can see the richness here. Drinks like Meursault , and a good one at that. The Chardonnay body fights with the minerality providing nice balance. Here the tart at the end serves the same purpose as RS in a Kabinett. Why did I only sign up for one bottle ?

April 19, 2023 - Ripe and dense for it's level, with orchard fruits and a dollop of wood spices. A touch fat and clunky at first, finding a bit more focus and energy with air. Needing a little bit of cellar time to come together but should be drinking really over the next year or so.

March 17, 2023 - Nice full bodied entry wine. Consistent with the density of more expensive Benjamin Leroux wines. Medium to low acid. Ripe orchard fruit, white flowers and saline. Made to drink young.
