  February 15, 2024 - sight: med gold; med (+) slow tearing
  smell: med (+) intensity of primary citrus (lemon), orchard (yellow apple) stone (peach) tropical (pineapple) floral (lemon blossom) mineral (slate, wet rock, smoke); secondary of malo (brioche, yogurt) aging (toasted wood).
  Palate: dry, med (+) acidity, high alcohol, med (+) body, med (+) intensity echoing the nose but with beeswax and honey and richy waxy texture on the palate. Long finish of tropical/slate/beeswax.
  
  Outstanding wine. High fruit intensity with velvety texture is balanced by acidity alcohol, giving the wine backbone and energy. Alcohol is well integrated. The layers of mineral and floral combined with the range of primary and secondary aromas and flavors give it great complexity. This all finishes long on the palate in a pleasant velvety texture. It's a ripe wine bordering on hedonistic but the tremendous complexity and mineral backbone make it work very nicely.
