November 16, 2023 - Chef's Tasting Menu with Wine Pairing - Atlas (Atlanta, GA): Color is dark purple/red. Young but nice. Super tannic. Good pairing with chocolate dessert - the pairing was better than the Madeira served before it. This pour was complementary b/c of the issue with the Barolo earlier in the meal and was much appreciated! Brad - heavypourwine.com

September 30, 2023 - Pintia.. again. The latest vintage release too, 2018. This was a cooler year, with lower than average alcohol levels as well as higher than average yields. Wines were thus of a fresher and lighter style.

Lots of oak and vanilla on the nose, as well as sweetness on the palate. Acidity medium +, with rather rounded tannins. Interesting minerality and glycerin on the mid-palate as this continued to develop.

Fruit forward with ripe cherries and blackcurrants, with a mouthfeel which is velvety even at this young stage. Very nice to contrast this with DQ's amazing 1999 vintage Pintia, it really did feel like a different wine all together!

Thanks bro SL for sharing this bonus bottle at Mika's birthday dinner in Extra Supertanker recently. I think the 13 of us enjoyed... 13 equivalent bottles of wine (Each being 750 ml), so felt "about right"!

Way too early.. try this in 2-3 or even better 5-10 years.

August 31, 2023 - Needs long aeration. So smooth after a couple of hours.

August 6, 2023 - After about 45 min, this wine really hit it’s stride. Velvety, balanced and wonderfully elegant with medium+ acidity.
