January 2, 2012 - Platinum. Big, nutty and smokey upon opening. Oily and rich. As it sat, a quieter elegance emerged that was creamy, bright, clean, with still integrating oak, hints of pineapple brulee, ripe lemon pound cake and graham cracker. Nice acidity for the vintage, some minerality. Overall, rich and elegant. Deserves time to integrate.

(Deux Montille Meursault 1er Cru Charmes) Lovely, focused, sweet lemon and vanilla nose; tasty sweet lemon, ripe grapefruit and tart citrus palate, elegant; medium-plus finish
