March 17, 2019 - Dominant flavours are oak driven: caramel, vanilla and some toast. Cedar is a bit thin on the ground, not a whole lot of fruit left. I've had cheap South African and Spanish wines with similar oak driven flavour. They tend to be popular with crowds, and no need to gamble on old bottles, and much cheaper too. This does have other things going on in there, just not enough.

October 18, 2017 - This has aged very well. It has really culminated into a great and well balanced wine.

June 25, 2017 - An outstanding example of how Australia makes world class Cabernet Sauvignon wines, that is not even the best one they make. Opaque with thin outer ring that is red. Smells open, inviting, and aromatic, with good black currant and black plum. The mouth entry is expansive, smooth, fruity, and delicious. The swallow features a fine structure with ample drying tannin and refreshing acidity. Nothing old, tired, ponderous, or sugary. At 12 years old, is at its peak and will stay there for at least another 5 years. Wonderful with Thai beef salad.
